     In the project department of Tongji Hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, an expert demonstration meeting was conducted on the afternoon of June 16, 2022. The meeting was attended by five senior experts from the Hubei high-risk sub project special safety special plan demonstration expert database, Maisheng technical experts, as well as the project manager, construction manager, safety supervisor, and head of the rigging team from Better.

    The Tongji Hospital, which is affiliated with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, has recently been granted the permit for proton radiation therapy by the National Health Commission. The hospital will be setting up the proton therapy system in the Optics Valley area, in a building with a construction size of around 12500 square meters. This facility will incorporate state-of-the-art imaging and tumor treatment equipment. The project is expected to be fully completed in December 2022, with the installation of the proton therapy system scheduled for July 2022.
