The specification also covers construction process management, inspection, internal acceptance, completion acceptance, and transfer of files to the construction enterprise staff. Delivery and acceptance, personnel responsible for file transfer shall leave the site upon completion. Thereafter, warranty services shall be provided, following a series of processes and drafting standards. The purpose of these measures is to promote the full implementation of GB/T50430 construction regulations, to further strengthen and implement quality responsibility across the company, enhancing self-discipline and quality management, and promoting the scientific, standardized and legal development of enterprise quality management.

In order to enhance the quality management standards of building construction companies and deliver quality buildings to the community, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the State and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development have decided to implement the 'Code for Quality Management of Engineering and Construction Enterprises' (GB/T50430-2007) for quality management system certification in the construction industry. This move aims to meet the demand for professional quality management practices in the field of building construction. The certificate must be marked 'certification.' Engineering construction firms must obtain a certification certificate indicating that they have met the standards of GB/T19001-2008/ISO9001:2008 and GB/T50430-2007.

ISO 14001 is the label for the certification of an environmental management system, while the ISO 14000 series of standards are environmental management system standards created by the International Organisation for Standardisation. The ISO 14000 series comprises of environmental management system standards designed and crafted by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). It is drafted in response to the growing global environmental pollution and ecological damage, as well as the depletion of the ozone layer, the escalation of global warming, the degradation of biodiversity, and other significant environmental issues that pose a threat to the future survival and growth of humanity. The OHSAS18000 series of standards is a key area of research and practice for international environmental management. These standards offer unified and consistent environmental management systems and international product standards, as well as rigorous and standardised auditing and certification methods to governments and organisations alike.

The OHSAS18000 series, launched jointly by the British Standards Institution (BSI), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), and 13 other organizations in 1999, acts as a quasi-international standard since an equivalent has not yet been developed in the current ISO.


Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS18001) is a management system standard applicable to any organization concerned about the occupational health and safety of its employees. Its aim is to reduce and prevent accidents, damage to the environment, and loss of life, property, and time through effective management.


The OHSAS 18001 Working Group released the updated standard, OHSAS 18001:2007, on 2nd July 2007.
